FD24UT
French Dinky 24UT Simca Aronde Elysee Taxi. Very near mint (extra silver details)/never individually boxed. Scarce issue with red painted convex wheels.
Notes
A pleasing finish on this Simca Taxi model, hard to find this good, especially considering that these taxi models were never individually boxed. Obviously a cherished Dinky that has lost none of its lustre:
Issued between 1956-58 with red painted convex wheels.
Bright baseplate and metal parts generally including the axle ends. Well-shaped original tyres have no flat spots.
Little mark (as usual) on the top of the TAXI sign and extra silver detailing (at door handles and bonnet centre line).
