D158
Dinky 40A/158 Riley Saloon. DEEP MID-GREEN issue. Scarce. Near mint/boxed (worn). From a private collection of Dinky and Corgi models, mostly purchased during the early 1980's at U.K. auction houses.
Notes
A more difficult find in mid-green ( more commonly found with a light green finish) with matching wheels. A couple of little marks on the bonnet and a few tiny pinpricks besides. Attractive original silver detailing at radiator and headlights.
Early railed baseplate with small print. Tow hook aperture. Smooth-runing original tyres.
Included is the picture box with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Very worn now, however, with repairs at end flaps.
