Made between 1957-64, this model was made towards the end of the run with a* rivetted back*.
A most attractive truck which presents nicely, with a gleaming red and grey finish, straight posts with original chain, rounded chain post bosses and grooved metal wheels. Supple, black treaded tyres run well.
Bright base and metal parts generally ( including axle ends).
Occasional negligible mark to the paint finish.
Closest inspection reveals two spot retouches on the roof and a couple of wheel arches have a minor retouch ( easy to overlook).
The striped Supertoys box is very bright and clean with minimal wear only. Dated 1961 from the Dinky stamp inside the box lid.
