D965
Dinky 965 Euclid Rear Dump Truck. Near mint/boxed. Scarce with window glazing and red-backed Logo. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
This is the slightly later issue, made between 1959-61 with window glazing and a red-backed ‘Euclid’ logo at the sides. Such a fine Supertoy from Dinky’s heyday; surely every child from the mid 50’s-60’s remembers it well! Very difficult to find absolutely mint. The truck has a lovely, bright, light yellow, (notably) all-original paint finish, perfect “Euclid” lettering, logo, and wording on both sides.
A few incidental marks only. Pleased to say that there are none of the expected marks on the cab roof caused by the operation of the tipping mechanism. Working mechanism for raising and lowering the tipper. And such a bright metal winding handle!
The striped Supertoys box is extremely bright, fresh and clean. Very close to mint – and no punctures!
Surely an under-valued Dinky Truck. An all original example in such a fresh box is a worthy investment piece.
