D34B
Dinky 34B Royal Mail Van. Excellent plus/never boxed individually. Scarce 1946 issue with open rear windows and SMOOTH WHEELS. From a private collection of Dinky and Corgi models, mostly purchased during the early 1980's at U.K. auction houses.
Notes
An all original example of this desirable just post-war Dinky model; this particular version has a black bonnet, roof and wings, and open rear windows.
Transition issue with smooth wheels, thick axles.
A lustrous sheen to the paint finish and easily legible ‘Royal Mail GR’ lettering on both sides, bright axles, black ridged wheels and smooth tyres (no splits or flat spots). Several little marks mostly at wheel arches.
A little rubbed area on the otherwise shiny baseplate.
