Issued 1958-63, this impressive Dinky truck is a sought-after model from the Dinky Supertoys range. And virtually impossible to find absolutely mint! This example is in beautiful, very close to mint condition. Looks unused. Brightest vibrant finish with a day-one lustre to the finish. One of the best examples we have seen, this model has a vivid red and grey finish with pale yellow lettering on both sides.
Very few marks only on this large car carrier which can hold four Dinky toys on its decks. Notably the lettering is perfect and unrubbed and the light grey upper is free from the usual scuffing at raised points. The decks can be raised and lowered by means of the winding handle The hinged ramp can be lowered too. The matching Dinky Trailer (Dinky 985) could be purchased separately at the time.
The large striped Supertoys box has both upper and lower packing pieces (some near-inevitable wear and tear caused by movement of this Dinky heavyweight).
The large striped Supertoys box is complete and clean with two little repaired corner splits to the lid. Vibrant colours. Barely any wear besides. Deep blue base is especially vibrant!
