D52
Dinky 512 Guy Flat Truck Rare issue in maroon & black. Excellent plus/boxed. In correct box with early factory stamp 'R'. From a large European Collection.
Notes
A first issue example from 1947-48 only, in the scarce maroon and black finish.
Such a fine lustre to this distinctive warm finish! Few little marks as you might expect for a model of this age.
Close inspection reveals a couple of retouches to the cab roof and a couple at some exposed edges besides. Nice bright axles, including the ends. Spare wheel, small unpainted hook.
Correct early box with a bright paper label.
No splits or graffiti and presents very well alongside this desirable Dinky truck. Some rusting to the staples.
This particular colour finish is a difficult find in any condition.
