Such an attractive item from Dinky – made between 1960 -64). The model has a shining yellow and orange original unfaded finish and superb ‘Dinky Toys’ and ‘Meccano’ lettering. Complete with three removable plastic pallets.
Occasional little mark where you would expect, at the rear door area for example.
The mechanism works well when the handle is turned, moving the sliding interior platforms so that goods (in this case three pallets) may be loaded and unloaded more easily. Tiny tarnished area to the otherwise bright and shiny winding handle.
Authentic Instruction leaflet included, with full instructions on how to operate the ingenious mechanism of this van. Rather creased now.
The striped SUPERTOYS outer box looks very bright and fresh.
Nice to see that the lid is unpunctured too – since quite often the winding handle can cause damage to the box. Discreet seam repair.
