C269
Corgi 269 James Bond Lotus Esprit. Scarce Hammer & Sickle' issue. Mint/boxed. From The Worcestershire Collection.
Notes
A fine example of this James Bond-related item, inspired by the film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’, first issued during 1977 (box is dated 1977 on the underside). In unused, mint condition – hard to prise open the crisp box!
The ‘film strip’ header card box is extremely bright and complete, looking shop-fresh, with not even a hint of a crease at the reverse of the header card.
For extra interest, this particluar box has the ‘Hammer & Sickle’ logo on the box just about visible on the red ‘0’ of 007on the header card and end flaps.
‘New’ tag on box , later issues did not have this either.
Intact original cellophane front. Tiny start of a tear at the tuck-in part of one end flap. LIght crease low down on box reverse.
Comes with a complete sprue of 10 missiles.
A sensational addition to your collection, models of this quality are especially sought-after.
