We are delighted to offer this scarce original Gift Set for sale.
It comprises:
First issue with a black and white Renault in near mint condition (little wear to the bonnet label).Dour labels and ‘Paramount’ paper labels on the roof sign are complete. Comes with spare wheel in the bonnet, driver, camera man and camera.
Later issues would have a plain orange sleeve insert, but this slightly earlier issue has the attractive tree-lined backdop with the little clear blister attached, containing the race leader on his bicycle in his yellow jersey.
Clean, fresh, bright and intact.
Delicate polystyrene plinth is clean, intact and notably complete.
The header card window box is a very fine example indeed with wonderfully vibrant colours on crisp, undamaged card! Not even a crease on the card reverse where it joins the main body of the box! Very minor age wear only No tears or grubbiness. Exceptional! The intact original cellophane is puncture-free too!
